In Mogadishu, the Federal Government of Somalia , @NCRDS_SOMALIA, @AfDB_Group & @UNHCRSom, alongside #IOM,#FAO,#UNHABITAT & #UN_Women, launched a USD 20.5M project supporting durable solutions for IDPs & host communities in #Dollow. A major step from fragility to stability.

For millions of refugees and displaced families, Ramadan is observed far from home, yet its spirit of solidarity remains strong. In Bossaso, families across 5 IDP sites gathered for Iftar despite hardship, with 70 households sharing food, charity, and hope. @UNHCRSom

In #Somalia, millions are affected by a deepening drought, with women and children hardest hit. Livestock losses and sharply reduced cereal production are pushing families into destitution. Urgent & timely assistance is needed to prevent the crisis from worsening.

New skills, new beginnings. #UNHCR joined partners #NCRI and #AVORD at a TVET graduation in Banadir for 50 displaced youth, supporting dignity, self-reliance, and hope through market-driven vocational training.

A safe place to call home makes all the difference. #UNHCR, with partner @AVORD1, handed over 336 emergency shelters to vulnerable IDPs in Beledweyne, strengthening protection and restoring hope. Government authorities and humanitarian partners were in attendance.

In Garowe, #UNHCR handed over essential medical equipment to Garowe General Hospital, boosting government-led health services and advancing refugee inclusion. The Ministry of Health recognized this partnership with a Certificate of Appreciation.
