@MeatMTG you only get a warning for missed detrimental trigger, otherwise it's no warning 🤓

BTW if you agree with this, you don't work on difficult enough problens

I realized something else AI has changed about coding: you don't get stuck anymore. Programming used to be punctuated by episodes of extreme frustration, when a tricky bug ground things to a halt. That doesn't happen anymore.

constantly inspired by people like @Em_TeeGee and @GavinVerhey and hope to push for a standard scene that feels welcoming to new players

I wrote a blog post on the modified version of Standard that our store runs for our events. It's been an amazing journey and I hope more stores adopt this format to help with accessibility into Standard :)

@PEKatchouze ah sorry, i see! to your point, I do think that some decks are better at going 2-0 than others, which is interesting... sometimes stage selection and matchups determine game records.
English

@AVaidyanatha You’re right on the typo ! I’m familiar with the system coming from YGO/OP, but I kinda liked that you had to fight even for that 2-0 victory in Round 3 to maximize your chances 🤷🏻♂️🤝
English

Huge changes to the competitive system that we know 😵💫
✅ Mixed languages available in decks is W imo, as long as you can pull out the card gallery to read cards.
✅ Primary tiebreaker going from your game win % to opponent’s game win % more or less feels like the same, even if I liked the idea of having to fight for every game to improve your breakers.
❓ Cut to top 8 in Premier events ? Not sure, this has too many implications regarding prizing, Swiss format (IDs?), Day 2 and more. Can’t really find a clear explanation on this so let’s wait for the update, but if it really is cut to top 8 in majors, feelsbad for non pro players that could dream of a top 64 as their TCG career highlight 🤷🏻♂️
Overall W tho, feels like quality of Life improvements so we take those 🤝

Hey all! We realize this post doesn't have a breakdown of what changed - apologies! Something more formal will go up soon, but for now, I wanted to highlight the bigger changes. Big thanks to @Vriss_ for his work on the Tournament Rules! (1/5)
English

@jamwt yup, definitely time to update it again, probably also worth expanding on edge functions
English

@AVaidyanatha And someone recently pointed out we need to update it because supabase has fixed some of the gaps that were on there.
We'll do that soon.
English

I remember spending time hand-writing our comparison page to be respectful of supabase and what they have done for the ecosystem, as I have watched their business since the early days and will always respect them
I’m even more glad now that I took the time to do the right thing.
