I am a man of faith but follow no religion, progressive in thought but independent in politics, dedicated to my country, my community, my friends and my family, served my country (USN), served my community (Police/EMS/Psychotherapist) and continue to do so in my elderly years (Crisis worker, Special Olympics Coach), fully embrace the freedoms enshrined in the United States Constitution, strong believer in due process for all, empathetic to those I love, like and like less, supporter of immigrants and immigrant causes, community advocate for those with autism, and fully embrace the tenants of diversity, equity and inclusion. It is who I am. I harbor no hate. I vote. I could care less what you think about it.

I'm not going to get into the particulars of my interactions today but will say any belief that women cannot do a job that men traditionally do is complete BS. MAGA is taking us backwards.

I am very sad and surprised to hear of the death of Dan Bice, reporter for the Milwaukee Journal. I met Dan in my copper days and then later on during the Heroin scourge that my clinic was addressing. Too young. Great guy to talk with. Rest in peace.

I have yet to find a MAGA member who can define the term "woke" and justify why DEI is discriminatory without connotations of racial undertones. I am all ears.

I do wonder what people like Scott Jennings will do once they realize they are just a pawn in the MAGA world destine to go nowhere despite their efforts.

I think it is very clear that the leadership in Isreal has no intention of ending their wars keeping the USA engaged in a situation we cannot walk away from.

I have seen my share of gunshot wounds throughout my career. The damage that a high velocity projectile does on the human body is the stuff of nightmares. I met a vet who was "grazed" by a bullet to his ear. He lost half of the lower ear. There is no growing that back. There is no sewing it back on. The injury is permanent and visual. This does not heal. Just consider that next time you look. You know what I am talking about.

I do read unsolicited requests on X but rarely respond since most of the requests are sexual in nature from accounts registered in Nigeria. But the one today calling me a "criminal immigrant lover" warrants a response. I am a first generation American and grew up in a German immigrant neighborhood in Milwaukee, all of whom love America. Indeed, I have empathy for immigrants. I have no empathy for how this administration is treating immigrants. It's shameful and immoral.
