Got in some great reps earlier this week! With hitting, worked on putting the ball on the ground so I can use my speed! ⚡️For fielding, I focused on foot work and turning my hips to get the ball as quick as possible. Took two weeks off from hitting and throwing to let my body recover while staying locked in with lifting and speed work and it paid off. First day back in the cage I actually snapped my Carbon. Worked with my dad on staying back, rotating through the ball, and staying in my legs. This was the first season I haven’t played basketball since I was 7. I had my mind made up I didn’t love it anymore. Crazy thing is…I’ve missed it! So when I was approached to suit up and help out the Lady Eagles, I jumped at the opportunity.
