While not a fan of his attitude, I do wish him luck in his career. He did after all help the Aggies put together their best season in decades and peed on the Lobo mascot. Kudos for that.

@OS_Beaver Memphis and Tulane would be crazy to join the PAC, there is no incentive, increased travel costs, non regional games, less fan buy in media deal is not better. AAC is as good if not better conference than the PAC. No reason for such a foolish move

Like Jerry Kill said, everybody is a Paper Tiger. Only time will tell. I don't really follow women's sports but it is exciting to watch when they are doing well whether it is BB, Softball, Volleyball or Soccer. Would be nice for our women's teams to be competitive in CUSA.

You guys do realize that he hired one of the best Assistant Coaches in the country, this was an excellent hire, these players will score far more points here, they were new on a very loaded roster that made the NCAA Tournament. We are extremely lucky to have got Coach Amadou here...

I wish him the very best. And only he knows who he needs to build his program his way. I do believe Joe Fields has a good handle of what he needs to do to get NMSU competitive. As for the men's basketball I do like Hooten just hope he can get the right combination of players to get over the 500 level.

Do a bit of research, the player that committed was on the Rhode Island squad, a very talented deep team that made the NCAA Tournament, many of them French and foreign players that Coach Amadou recruited, this player is one of them she was a freshman on that tallented squad, she will do well here, should expect 2-3 more to come here from Rhode Island along with several new players coming from France or other foreign countries. let him get the squad built!!!

ASU has a huge NIL Budget and barely finished with 17 wins. I think it comes down to getting the right HS players and keep them for four years.

I think the Glory Days of Aggie Basketball and Football are over and done with. I came from a generation when Aggie basketball dominated and the football team was always crappy in whatever conference they were in. Now we are just average Joe's.
