Midnight, the fourth generation of blockchain, focuses on rational privacy. #Midnight uses zero-knowledge proofs to validate transactions without revealing their content. Sensitive data remains exclusively on the user's device and is never uploaded to the network. With Midnight's privacy model, sensitive user data remains solely on their device, with only hashes on the chain. The blockchain only records a mathematical proof that the transaction is legitimate, allowing the user to maintain full control of their information and decide who to grant access to using view keys.
