I feel I have let down my fellow TMC supporters by keeping their hopes high for months. It seems that West Bengal’s silent voters have spoken this time. I accept the verdict of the people. Let’s hope Bengal does not lose its culture and traditions over the next 5 years.

This result was really unexpected to me & I will try to introspect where I went wrong. TMC too should introspect the reasons behind such a failure before blaming anyone! Congratulations to the BJP for winning West Bengal. They have made the impossible possible by consolidating more Hindu votes than they did in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat. I hope they will fulfill all their manifesto promises.
