Wow did you know that on this day in 1880 Arthur Guinness bought Stephen’s Green? Imagine if we could say that @meathcoco bought the land for the Ashbourne Community Park in 2020. Maybe our children’s children would have somewhere to play! #park4ash2020

Hey @meathcoco, maybe it would be worthwhile contacting @countykerry to find out about parks for local people? Killarney has nearly the exact same population as Ashbourne and yet they’ve had a stunning national park since 1932. And yes Ashbourne is in Meath! #park4ash2020

Great news for the people of Carlanstown(population 664) and hopefully the kids will benefit for many years to come. It’s a pity that in Ashbourne(population 14,000), the fasting growing town in Meath, the only priority of @meathcoco is to build more houses. #park4ash2020

@CorkBilly I can guarantee that this isn’t a park in Ashbourne as we still don’t have one. @meathcoco only specialises in planning permission for new houses in this area. Seems ridiculous that one of the biggest population centres in Meath doesn’t have a park. #Park4Ash2019
