@FoolishBB @LanceBroz maybe it would be fairer to say that he has exceptional curveball command and everything else is just fine

@FoolishBB @LanceBroz Roupp has a career 13.3% walk rate vs lefties and 6.8% vs righties. I think he has good command but lefties pick up on the slower curveball early and he’s never zoned the changeup much, so the walk rates stay high

my daily “he’s playing there now?” for 2/26/26 is that dom smith is now a brave

good player. new sinker and harder curveball in 2023 w/ sf's triple-a; a's tried to scrap them later that year but he figured it out anyway. idk if he's a SP but the boston experiment went better than i remembered (2.91 fip, .477 babip, etc.)
