Mieruko-Chan is by no means peak, but Miko is an A+ character design. Normal girl tormented by her otherworldly eyes, gothic angst that can never show itself, never let *either* world - living or dead - know what she's seen. She deserves more fanart

I went too far the other way with Iris lol. When she isn't cosplaying as a Hetalia reject, she gets mistaken for any of a hundred other anime girls. Straight up default settings white woman.

If you want fanart don't make your design way too complicated for no reason. A cool design isn't one that's cluttered with a shitload of accessories and asymmetry and whatnot just for the sake of it. Make yourself easy to draw, it's free marketing.

@basedbinkie For me it’s just the presence of electricity that crosses the fantasy line. The setting can have straight up mechs vs aliens in space, as long as the mechs are powered by magic and the aliens have a funny name
