Today we delivered our petition to @IPSONews demanding stricter rules on reporting domestic abuse deaths. Joined by @AAFDA6 women who had lost mothers, sisters & daughters to domestic abuse killings & @DawnButlerBrent, our message is clear: #DignityforDeadWomen.

So as I’m in MCR a little while longer I took the opportunity to visit the Central Library on the advice of @Zebra_carol. What a treat. I even happened across a small choir singing one of my favourite Beatles tunes. In. A. Library!

I had hoped the Victims Bill would transform + even revolutionise the response to victims but in its current form it’s disappointingly far from the big picture promises we want to see. You can read my statement here about the Victims and Prisoners Bill.
