Is demanding safe, unadulterated food now considered ‘creating panic’?

Government and senior officers don’t know what the public faces at ground level every day. I went to a police station regarding a land matter and the Sub Inspector there was talking very badly, with no manners at all, talking like goons instead of police officers. They are taking salaries from the money of the public but there is no professionalism, no respect in the way they talk to common people. People go to police stations for help, but many times they are treated like they have done something wrong just by coming there. The police have a main hand in crime when common people start fearing the police instead of criminals. UP Police should seriously train their officers how to behave, how to talk, and how to deal with the public. Ground reality is very different from what senior officers think. @Uppolice

Before 2014, the Congress led central government tried to bring a communal violence bill. Its objective was to appease its guaranteed vote bank. In this bill, the majority community would have been treated as the culprit in violence and religious minorities would have been declared victims. This was a divisive bill. The BJP fought against it. Had this bill been passed, imagine the harassment the majority of society would have faced. Now, 12 years later, Congress is trying to bring a similar bill in Assam.
