Any sport should not be commercialised so much. The pure joy and spirit of the game is getting lost because everything is now about money, sponsorships and brand value. The heavy focus on commercial deals has made tickets and matches so expensive that normal fans are finding it hard to enjoy the game.

INDIA IS ON SALE!! Heard Budh International Circuit being officially purchased by Mr. Gautam Adani for ₹6000 crores day before yesterday genuinely feels like another piece of India being handed over to corporate power. The one place motorsport lovers wanted untouched from politics, over-commercialisation, and branding culture is now heading the exact same way. Soon it won’t even feel like a racing circuit anymore. It’ll be another VIP event venue filled with advertisements, political appearances, sponsors, and fake glamour while actual motorsport passion gets sidelined. And that’s what hurts the most!! People can say whatever they want about Vijay Mallya, but one thing is undeniable he brought motorsport to India with passion. He built a world-class circuit when nobody else even cared about racing in this country. He could’ve turned it into a corporate circus decades ago too, but he didn’t. Today everything feels like business first, passion later. Indian motorsport deserved protection, not another takeover!! 😌

Every time I come to Buddh International Circuit, I salute Mr. Mallya the man who truly introduced motorsport culture here. And today, we’re here for Race Wars 2026. 🏁🔥

@Ravisutanjani The government seems to be deliberately slow on building proper EV infra. They know that once people shift to electric vehicles, the huge revenue from petrol and diesel taxes will drop sharply.

@kumxem Agreed completely. Extreme cold is much better than extreme heat because you can always add more layers and warm yourself up easily while extreme heat quickly causes dehydration and heatstroke.

This is exactly what is happening in many companies right now. Leadership cuts timelines and budgets expecting AI to do the magic but never invests in proper upskilling. Before AI itself, Indian tech and corporate employees reported high burnout, and working weekends have become common because companies want faster output.

Had a call with a college friend this morning. Product Manager. US company. Running India operations. We both discussed AI and impact, he said: "Yaar, the pressure is insane right now. Same projects, but timelines cut from 3 months to 6 weeks. Budgets were slashed 20%. And the leadership just assumes AI will cover the gap." The problem? Their company never invested in upskilling. So what's actually happening on the ground, it seems people are working weekends. burning out. Covering the gap with hours instead of tools. AI didn't create the pressure. Unpreparedness did. The companies that will win the next 5 years are not the ones that bought the most AI tools. They're the ones who spent 2025 and 2026 making sure their people actually knew how to use them. Upskill before you pick up the project. Not during. Not after. The cost of being unprepared is now measured in weekends.

@ANI Now it’s alternate days, one day petrol hike, the next day CNG increase. Such frequent hikes in just one week will push overall inflation higher and many families have to cut down on other expenses to manage daily travel and necessary goods.

@_Zeets Is there any reliable way to detect articles written by AI vs human writers? I see so many polished pieces online these days and it’s getting harder to tell. What tools or methods do you guys use to check? Would love to know your experiences.

They want to act honest and not put responsibility on any one. They make big speeches, form committees and show sympathy but never clearly blame or punish anyone responsible. India has seen over 65 major exam paper leaks since 2019 and in almost every case the real powers stay untouched while students lose their future.

@unusual_whales This shows that human labour is cheaper than AI for many tasks, and companies might still prefer hiring people in countries like India where wages are low than to get things done through AI

@SayantikaSays True, the first image still looks better and more rich to me. The fall ceiling with decorative lights and detailed furniture gives a grand and luxurious feel that many Indian homes want.

Indians spend lakhs of rupees for the fall-ceiling and decorative lights in their interiors. While the most beautiful interior is the one with simplest furniture and minimalist design.

Agreed, the best India can do right now is to reduce taxes and encourage FII money to flow in. Lowering capital gains tax and simplifying rules will make India more attractive for foreign investors who are currently pulling out money. India has seen net FII outflows of over $19 billion this year and reducing taxes can quickly reverse this trend and help stabilise the falling rupee.

For investors in Indian markets: Short-term capital gains tax (stocks held <1 year) went from 15% to 20% two years ago. Long-term capital gains tax (held >1 year) went from 10% to 12.5% two years ago. And FIIs outflow since then: 2025: Record ₹1.66 lakh crore net - the highest annual FII outflow ever recorded in Indian markets. 2026: ₹1.51 lakh crore net just until April 2026. Just a 2% increase matters a lot if you are an FII investing billions. FIIs invest in India because of high growth opportunities, but a depreciating rupee and an increase in taxes means they may move out their capital. And FIIs definitely move their capital when they sense global issues may drag India's growth. We are already seeing this. This causes more stresses to India's economy, currency, and companies. Even if futures and options keep their increases in STT (for various reasons it can be argued to make sense), for capital gains from equities, this increase in tax definitely needs to be reconsidered by GoI. An idea I propose is the increases in taxes can be applied (some other way) only for FIIs, and only when they are taking out the capital from the country. Not sure how it can be implemented, or if it is even practical. If not, the increases in CGT must be reconsidered, and reverted for at least the time being, to incentivize FIIs and DIs in investing in India's growth story.

Agreed but it still feels so different on the ground. Fuel prices have risen sharply in the last few days and daily expenses like vegetables, milk and transport are increasing fast. Every big price hike pushes overall inflation higher while middle-class families feel the pressure on their monthly budget.

#WATCH | Mumbai | Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman says, "India's domestic economic situation remains positive and resilient even today. Therefore, those naysayers who jump into the scenario as it were and say that it is all falling. There is a section of Indians who very quickly want to cry the achievements of our own people. A pessimistic, cynical narrative is generated, which is just not right. It is wrong because it is fear-mongering. India cannot afford fear-mongering; we need to give confidence to our people with our words and actions. India continues as a robust economy."

This EPC error on a well-maintained imported car after running on E20 is very worrying. Most car insurance policies in India do not cover damage caused by using incompatible or higher ethanol fuel. Such claims are usually rejected under “improper fuel” or “owner negligence” clause and thousands of similar E20-related complaints have already been denied by insurers.
