@Aakash0211 @Seprabakar @askGST_GoI If it is a partnership firm converted to LLP - PAN does not change. If it is a Pvt Ltd Co converted to LLP - PAN changes.

@ProteanEgovTech @IncomeTaxIndia Applied on 27.04.2026 for change of name in PAN upon successful conversion of partnership firm into LLP. Still the application is under process. Our capital goods import is stuck due to this. Request to clear urgently.

@MCA21India @NSDL_Depository @startupindia @DPIITGoI @PiyushGoyal @JitinPrasada I converted my partnership firm into LLP. The PAN card is showing the original date of incorporation and not the date of conversion (i.e. date of incorporation of LLP).

@taxologyin this was my reason: Large-scale dismantling and government projects involve high liability and high capital. The "LLP" suffix provides an immediate psychological sense of permanence and professionalism. It moves the brand from a "local trader" image to an "industrial firm" image.
