@HalseyBeshears Allow the food truck exemption again in the interim. Bars are more heavily restricted than 'bars with wings' anyhow. Breweries/bars can't be the only industry asked to monitor its own 'bad apples'. If DBPR wants food, there is a quick fix but this is another week+ of closures

Next week starting Friday, I’m going to set meetings throughout Florida with breweries and bars to discuss ideas on how to reopen. We will come up with a Safe, Smart and Step-by-step plan based on input, science and relative facts on how to reopen as soon as possible.

@HalseyBeshears we’ve been closed for over half the year. Your advice is to stretch a months worth of operating capital into the remainder of 2020 as we should expect to remain closed? @GovRonDeSantis is this serious?!?!

@HalseyBeshears Why couldn't you be bothered to say this on July 16th, your self imposed deadline? Why promise something so simple and then not deliver. DBPR/ABT credibility = 0; Why is @GovRonDeSantis now claiming bars in S Fl are responsible for increased positivity rates while closed?

We established a 3 week deadline at DBPR to reevaluate the sale of alcohol in establishments with consumption on premises licenses, without ever promising to open anything back up. Due to the continuing increase in positivity, there will be no change from emergency order 2020-09.

If the rates keep going up, restaurants are next according to @HalseyBeshears we will know this Thursday. But I’m going to call @GovRonDeSantis hand bc shutting down restaurants is too politically damning. @FloridaDBPR is a joke and breweries are a scapegoat
