@marinwaves some of that but mostly its that my daughter has been terrified of my mother every time she sees her, largely because my mom has no respect for her boundaries or ours. "I'm grandma, she shouldn't be scared of me!" then continues to act super weird and creepy

@AaronEstel @relic_radiation My fav pic of that summer: this is Bob Urbanski, he and his wife Betty lived next to Bowman Creek where it went through a more wooded area, and they were so welcoming to us as we were taking bug samples! Gave us lemonade and food, and put on polka music

hi followers! do any of you live near Elkhart, Indiana? I’m looking for local info about it. Looks like I will be there the entire second half of June, studying directly with Sharon Wheeler, the 80 year old bodyworker that developed bone work (!!!!!)

also I really did not realize how thoroughly vascularized bone is!! based on what I experienced in class (more aliveness to previously offline / numb / stiff / sluggish areas around my right hip), it seems like bone work can straightforwardly benefit circulation

@AaronEstel @relic_radiation I was there summer of 2010! Was part of a Research Experience for Undergrads program at Notre Dame, studying urban freshwater ecology of Bowman Creek. Didn't realize it was a Catholic university until after I signed up -- definitely a culture shock!
