It almost looks to me as if Iran is mocking Trump. It looks to me as if Iran understands how to exploit his hyperbolic narratives, addiction to social media, and lack of impulse control. It looks to me as if Iran understands strategy and posture better than him. It looks to me as if Iran doesn't yet want to give him daylight he needs to exit the debacle he started while he continues to insult and threaten them through bloviation. And Trump cannot stop bloviating. He needs to project grandiosity or he'll melt. He'll keep posting threats. He'll spin the narrative to say that Iran is falling apart, has no leaders, and has no cards. Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz. That's a card. Iran has enriched uranium. That's a card. Iran took the US' best punch and still fires missiles and drones. That's a card. Iran still has its regime intact. That's a card. Iran knows Trump's polling is tanking partly due to the war. That's a card. Iran knows that they have negotiated a massively favorable deal. That's a card. Iran knows that Trump and Israel are at odds. That's an important card for them to exploit. Iran knows that it looks to much of the world as if they're the more credible actor. That's an amazing card. Iran knows Trump is trapped. That's the biggest card.

I said there are different, or more specifically humiliating, ways teams are put through the customs process particularly if they’re part of AFCON.

@AaronMonheim Do we know that? On the tarmac is a bit odd, but I read in an article this week about teams coming over and it mentions in passing about players going through customs.
