@StanUsmnt 2025 was the only gold cup Puliaic skipped. The tournament lost its luster when fifa did away withe the confederations cup after 2017. Before that the post WC gold cup was the "main" gold cup and the pre WC gold cup had B teams mainly from the US and Mexico

@StanUsmnt 2021 was a mix of A/B team players for Mexico 9 players had 10 caps of less, 2021 for the usmnt was a full on B team tournament, Adams and Mckennie werent there either. 2023 same thing. 2025 was mexico's first A team since 2019 because they hadnt won anything since then.

Hasn’t played the gold cup since Covid. If I’m correct I believe he only did the short nations league camps and nothing else in summers of 21-22-23-25.
Mexicos best somehow seem to always show up. I get the rest piece but at some point this generation needs to show up for an extended gold cup camp.
All of our previous generations did it. 🤷♂️

@StanUsmnt I honestly don't see the problem. Expecting these guys to play year round is too much. Especially guys who are injury prone. Not everyone is built like that and it doesn't make them soft.

MLS doomers always gonna be negative. What was Richards doing at 18? Not having two games where he was the best defender in the field in MLS. Pulisic and Reyna? Playing empty stadium academy games. The guys I mentioned are all starters on senior squads.
