Was a privilege to get to share about the pastoral ministry of Charles Simeon on @LondonLyceum. Thankful for their work!

Beloved and Faithful includes chapter long biographies of some people you may not know, but that you should know! This includes a couple Baptist pastors who preached against slavery, David Barrow and Abraham Booth. Their stories are really interesting and encouraging, too.

My friend, Michael Haykin, who also wrote a book for @Courier1821 about the English Reformers, Light from the Word, wrote the foreword by my book! I'm very thankful for his commendation. He helped give me a love for church history and for writing about it.

Would you consider following @Courier1821 ? Recently, they've put out a number of books that are sympathetic to both Reformed Theology and historic baptist ecclesiology. I'm thinking of @nateakin's book, Convictional Baptists as well as Unburdening the Soul by @philnewton901.
