Looks like Trump attacked Venezuela first to take their oil, and now he's indirectly made Iran close the Strait of Hormuz so that US oil companies can sell oil and make big profits. Gulf countries will buy more US weapons.Iran is a big supplier of China's oil and potentially for India as well. By taking control of oil-rich countries, the USA is trying to create a setting where the US can easily blackmail India and especially China in the future if required. I'm not a supporter of the radical and religious government in Iran right now, but I think a pro-US Iranian government will be more fatal for India's interests. Not only China, but we are also getting surrounded by the USA—be it Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, and now Iran.
