Finally, after 4 years in tech, it's time to focus on DSA & problem-solving. 🚀
Just finished the first 6 lectures of @kunalstwt's DSA Bootcamp. I've been programming for years, but his explanations and problem-solving approach are on another level. 🫡

What does it take to build the next generation of observability?
@hiprabhat, founder of OpenObserve, joins @kunalstwt on Open Source Cafe to discuss Rust, open source, scaling telemetry, and building observability for AI agents and LLM applications.

$20,000 in prizes, job interviews for winners, 1 week.
Agents of SigNoz ONLINE hackathon starts next week. Build agent-native observability workflows, SRE copilots, and AI/LLM observability dashboards powered by @SignozHQ.
We’re giving away the entire Apple Air ecosystem to each team member, including MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, and AirPods Pro 3. The last hackathon got 8,000 participants; think we can cross that? 👀

140x cheaper and 40x faster open-source observability solution.
I sat down with Prabhat Sharma, the founder of @OpenObserve, to look under the hood of how they use Rust to hit those numbers and how a single binary replaces an entire legacy stack.

So, @TimescaleDB is giving away one thousand dollars in free cloud credits, with no credit card required. But why is this specialized database infrastructure actually necessary?
Postgres struggles with non-stop, time-ordered data. Chronological inserts crowd the exact same spot in your database index, which tanks performance and bloats your storage. If you try to fix slow queries by adding more indexes, you end up placing a heavy tax on your write speeds.
Datadog’s State of AI report highlights that sixty percent of production failures are capacity-driven, not code bugs. Instead of ditching Postgres, Tiger Cloud, the sponsor of this post, by Tiger Data uses automatic Hypertables and columnar compression to slash storage by ninety-five percent.

Found this legit chai cafe in San Francisco and spent some time messing around with AI coding agents.
It’s amazing how powerful they've gotten. But running them straight on a local laptop is a security risk for teams. If an agent gets prompt-injected or hits a malicious package, it has direct access to your local files, environment variables, and private keys.
Been looking into how @coderhq Agents, the sponsor of this post, tackle this. Instead of running the agent loop right inside the workspace where your code lives, they decouple the whole thing. The loop stays inside a secure control plane, and it only talks to your workspace over a secure connection.
A few things that stand out:
🔒 Zero API keys enter the developer workspace, so there's nothing to leak.
🌐 Workspaces can be totally network-isolated with zero internet egress while still using AI.
🧑💻 "Plan Mode" keeps the developer in the loop. The agent works in a temporary directory and shows you the exact diff. Nothing actually changes in your environment until you click approve.
If you want to try it out, there's a link below to check out Coder Agents for free.

man the best thing about this world is the people in it. without a doubt. im home in berlin where we had @WeAreDevs and @localfirstfm conf soon and ive been spending so much time with people I love and got to meet new ones. its really the best. here’s the list
1. @ashtom and i had such a wonderful conversation about github and @EntireHQ and traveling and parenthood and devrel and open source and all the things and it was just very warm and life giving and memorable. really left a mark on me that im still digesting. i also got to meet my dear friend @lizziepika at their booth and there was so much great swag.
2. i had the privilege of walking around with @KrasimirTsonev on day 1 and relaxing my a canal on day 2 and talking life and family and tech. so special.
3. the @trypolygraph team and i had such a delightful dinner filled with both tech talk and shit talk over indian food that is such a core memory. @victorsavkin, @juristr, @MaxKless are talented engineers who can talk and laugh and unwind. it was a real gift to spend time with them.
4. i spent the entire day today being shadowed by my friend viktor (not even on x) who’s an engineer at @AUTO1_Group and attended his first conference ever. he loved it! we will repeat this for sure.
5. i got to meet my dear friends @FrancescoCiull4 and @krisvelkov again and catch up.
6. continued to goon to @cloudflare with @harshil1712 and @TheAlexLichter, always a good time.
7. took some sick Polaroids with @coderabbitai
8. got to watch my dear friend @vitalyf give an incredible talk about the latest state of ai perception by people.
9. spent the evening talking to @nearestnabors / @rachelnabors about devrel, culture, and meema
10. got to catch up with my dear friend @kunalstwt and hear about exciting new developments in his life—he is going to make life better for so many!
honestly as with every conference, my heart is full. people are it man. companies are cool, tech is cool, none of it matters without the incredible people (all people, not some exclusive subset) behind the screens building it for others and the ones who use it. that for sure is my main motive, reason, purpose for all this and it’s just so so good.
love your neighbor as you love yourself. that’s really it.
