I saw a woman on TikTok say she was a "good girl" her whole life. Did everything the "right" way. Followed the rules. Kept the peace. Put everyone else first. Now she's in her 40s , said all she feels like she has to show for it is grief and a lot of built-up anger...and honestly, as a woman, i felt that story deeply. bc nobody really talks about how being the "good girl" often benefits everyone around you except the actual good girl always..
Everyone else gets the patience, the understanding, the sacrifice. And she's the one left realizing she spent years shrinking herself just to keep everyone else comfortable…

They only did it for me free cus I already paid for a service which failed (filled the teeth first ) and since there was still pain after the filling, they asked me to come in and after checking suggested removal and did it immediately

Couldn't get NHS dentist surgery so I just went to private.
Called and booked an appt for wisdom teeth pain and sensitivity.
paid £30 at the time of appt just in case you cancel.
Got an appt in 2 days.
Went to surgery, laid down and had xray of my teeth- all well except my wisdom tooth on the left lower side.
Local anaesthesia injected, tooth cleaned and filled, filed and everything was good.
Went to receptionist and paid balance of £30.
Doctor: if you have any more pain after 24hrs give us a call.
2days later: called surgery and booked another appt. Didn't have to pay as it's follow up.
Got an appt for the next day.
Got to surgery and laid down-
Doctor said: do you wanna remove it here or do you want a referral to dental surgeon. We can try to remove it for free 🆓 but if we can't then we have to refer.
Me: just do it then.
Local Anaesthesia injected, 2mins later tooth is out, gauze packed inside the mouth to stop bleeding
Instruction note handed over
Doctor: follow this and you will be fine, come back in 6months for check up.

See you in 6 months time. 10:43am Me at reception: I'm done. Books next appointment. Receptionist to me: Are you paying by cash or card today Me: Card please Receptionist hands me the card machine My bill £27.40 (for an appointment that took less than 3mins) Me: 😭😭😭😭😭😭
