1985: Pakistani FC members next to an Afghan Mujahid with 303 rifle crossing from Pakistan to Afghanistan. No Afghan Mujahideen attacked Pakistani FC or Pakistani Army and there was mutual respect. In 1994 Pakistan made the big mistake by creating and supporting Taliban.

@BabakVahdad For eg Most Pakistanis would be familiar with Saadi,(Gulistan) Hafez, Rumi, Ferdowsi (Shahanama) etc, this holds true for older gen more who studied persian in schools but anyways there is a bit of continuity but hardly anyone would be familiar with for eg Shah Ismail..

@Kochaiaka @paykhar Afg was created as a buffer to keep Uzbek Tajiks Farsiwans & central Asia perpetually divided & in conflict as has been proven since then It also severed trade routes & separate Balkh/ Samarqamd Bukhara & Herat/ Mashhad. @paykhar and,, Only South India’s GDP is much bigger than PAK and BAN combined. So what was the point of creating these two weak states? To weaken Muslims in South Asia and esp in India, fragment the region and keep conflicts in the region through lines, i.e., the Durand and Kashmir?

As Afghans, not only do we refuse to recognise the Durand Line as an official border, we don't even recognise Pakistan as legitimate nation-state due to the fact that it was created by the British as an instrument of subversion against Muslims in the region.

@paykhar Irony is all borders of Afg are drawn by British,Pashtunisation of North Afg & pashtun settlement,which pretty much forms a guarantee for existence of Afghhanistan was pursued with sponsorship of British to counter Russia However history or self reflection isnt their strong point
