Is it @atiku, whose era as Vice President was marked by controversies surrounding the privatization of national assets and whose former ally, Babachir Lawal, has openly suggested that his emergence could pose serious religious and ethnic concerns for the country? A Fulani man whose who could be perceived as being too sympathetic to interests linked to the Fulani establishment at a time when Nigeria is still battling insecurity. Or is it @PeterObi, who is even the worst of them all. Beyond his tribal and religious bigotry, a fact known by many in the country, he has also consistently failed to convince many Nigerians that he possesses the depth and capacity required for the nation's highest office? A man whose public engagements frequently generate more questions than answers, whose responses are often contradictory, who thrives on highlighting catastrophic narratives, and whose tenure as governor was, according to the people he governed, far from being free of security challenges. To me, these remain the two weakest and worst candidates ever seriously projected to take over from Pres Bola Ahmed Tinubu. If there are other contenders with stronger credentials, clearer visions and greater capacity than those currently on offer, then bring them forward. Perhaps then I may permanently align with your argument for removing Tinubu in 2027 who has placed Nigeria on the path of steady progress.
