In 2016, Nigeria’s ICAO safety audit score was 67.1 per cent. In 2023, Nigeria managed 70.12%, still below the global standard. In April 2026, after an ICAO Coordinated Validation Mission, Nigeria was provisionally assessed at 91.45%*, a leap of more than 21 points in under three years, the highest score in our history, and well above the global average of 70.4 per cent.
That confidence was not gifted to us. It was earned through painstaking legal, regulatory and institutional reform work done by HM @fkeyamo ‘s Ministry of Aviation and its agencies covering root cause analysis, corrective action plans validated by ICAO, retrained inspectors, digitised safety oversight amongst others. Years of unglamorous work when no one was watching, after years of concern from the international aviation community.
An unattended vehicle in front of an international airport terminal like @PeterObi did is not a parking inconvenience. Under aviation security protocol, it is considered a serious security breach and a potential threat until cleared. Airports everywhere act on such vehicles without ceremony, and no serious country makes exceptions for status.
So, when airport security officials clamped the vehicle, they were not embarrassing anyone. They were doing exactly what has taken Nigeria from 67 per cent to 91 per cent which is, applying the rules to everyone, including the entitled. The only shameful thing at that airport was the expectation that they shouldn’t have.
And this here is the irony —-> Had such conduct dented that hard-won progress, Mr Obi would have been first in line to publish a lengthy sermon on Nigeria’s failings.
Patriotism is not performed in essays. It is practised, especially when nobody is obliged to indulge your sense of importance.

I want you to buy copies of "English Language Class", a book I wrote and published in 2021.
I featured you and Chioma in it. (page 12 and page 37)
The book teaches the correct use of English Language in an entertaining and humorous way.
You can give copies to Rarara @kahuturarara and his entourage, and distribute the rest to public schools around the country as charity.

You people can never succeed. God will not allow Atiku to win.
So it's for this reason why ElRufai was tapping NSA phone.
Dino as FCT minister sounds the most ridiculous.
We know you Atiku's supporters were happy with all the atrocities committed by Al Mustapha during Abacha. God won't permit affliction the second times on us innocent Nigerians again.

@jrnaib2 Bro to Bro, don't Vote in 2027 bcus your vote won't count

Peter Obi thinks he knows a lot and has in depth knowledge about how to solve the economic, security and power problems.
I strongly believe BAT will flaw him very easily. I want BAT to mess him up so badly in a debate.
I'm using this medium to beg all APC supporters and believers of Asiwaju's knowledge of governance to accept an open debate to teach Peter Obi serious lessons.

@aonanuga1956 Let's assume 2027 happens for Tinubu, una all go rest after 2031 , so make una d prepare with 2031 in view

Amid all these orchestrated negative reports about our country Nigeria, the report of 84% growth in foreign capital inflow is very heartwarming indeed. The Tinubu administration is surely making Nigeria a leading investment destination, a country that is bankable and credit worthy.

For those agitating and clamouring for the removal of President Tinubu in 2027, let me for once, align with your illogical school of thought and join your call, even though it is glaringly unrealistic. Let me assume, for the sake of argument, that it is actually possible.
My question then is simple: who exactly is the better alternative among those currently being paraded as potential replacements in 2027?
Is it @atiku, whose era as Vice President was marked by controversies surrounding the privatization of national assets and whose former ally, Babachir Lawal, has openly suggested that his emergence could pose serious religious and ethnic concerns for the country? A Fulani man whose who could be perceived as being too sympathetic to interests linked to the Fulani establishment at a time when Nigeria is still battling insecurity.
Or is it @PeterObi, who is even the worst of them all. Beyond his tribal and religious bigotry, a fact known by many in the country, he has also consistently failed to convince many Nigerians that he possesses the depth and capacity required for the nation's highest office?
A man whose public engagements frequently generate more questions than answers, whose responses are often contradictory, who thrives on highlighting catastrophic narratives, and whose tenure as governor was, according to the people he governed, far from being free of security challenges.
To me, these remain the two weakest and worst candidates ever seriously projected to take over from Pres Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
If there are other contenders with stronger credentials, clearer visions and greater capacity than those currently on offer, then bring them forward. Perhaps then I may permanently align with your argument for removing Tinubu in 2027 who has placed Nigeria on the path of steady progress.
Until that happens, all the noise, propaganda and political excitement surrounding the idea of unseating him amounts to little more than political fantasy and childish play that is unlikely to materialize.

TINUBU is not the PROBLEM
Nigerians are the PROBLEM…
1. The BANDITS are majorly Nigerians
2. Their INFORMANTS are Nigerians
3. Their SYMPATHIZERS are Nigerians
4. Their ARMS suppliers are Nigerians
5. Their ENABLERS are Nigerians
But we want only the PRESIDENT to end the INSECURITY. Practically, it’s not possible. We as NIGERIANS have to step up and do what we have to do too. The President can only try his BEST, we need to do the REST.
