@AJEnglish Sudanese genocidal generals must be vanquished. They occupied Ethiopian territories and harbor various mafia bandits and gangsters to harm Ethiopia 🇪🇹. No more mercy to corrupt wicked Sudanese generals
Sudan has recalled its ambassador to Ethiopia, accusing Addis Ababa of launching drones at Khartoum airport and alleging UAE involvement.
Ethiopia calls the claims baseless and accuses Sudan of backing TPLF fighters, as analysts warn of a dangerous regional escalation.
@Hager179553222@hawelti This moment calls for the unity of all Ethiopian patriots to vanquish cancerous tplf/eplf thugs that are menacing Ethiopia for half a century. Viva Ethiopia 🇪🇹 ♥️
@SUNA_AGENCY The regime in Sudan is the one who destroyed Sudan civilian, constitutionally elected government, set up RSF to génocide Darfur. The regime occupied Ethiopian land and supports various mafia bandits. Sudanese generals must be punished
@AsayeDerbie You depend on Eritrea and Sudan to bring you to 4 kilo. They make you their slaves and split your country. But, as tainted banda, you don't care for Ethiopia. A looser ardent scam
@addisstandard AD is overwhelmed and overjoyed by wicked tplf coup d'état. It's strange that all extremist self-hating and rival ethnic thugs keep pretending to support each other deceptively. They are in motion of murder suicide, each harboring evil intentions the other. AD is such bloody one

Behind closed doors, Abiy Ahmed faces mounting pressure, economic strain, public backlash amplified by Teddy Afro, and shifting alliances as Eritrea gains ground. The message is clear: leverage is fading, and reality is catching up.

#Ethiopia: VOX Tigray report warns of “severe deterioration” of media environment in #Tigray
A new report by #VOX_Tigray has documented what it describes as a “severe deterioration” of the media environment in Tigray over the past year, with conditions worsening sharply since early 2026 amid growing political pressure, arrests, and displacement of journalists.
The report, sent to #Addis_Standard, based on interviews with media professionals and cross-checked accounts, paints a picture of a sector under strain from “physical threats, arbitrary arrest, surveillance, smear campaigns, editorial coercion, economic hardship, and displacement.” It situates the crisis within broader national trends of declining press freedom and heightened political polarization, both at federal and regional levels.

@Hdmona4G@asmaragraphy Ask your Italian colonial masters that gave birth to bastard Eritrea and wicked tplf Meles who signed your birth certificate. Dummies are senseless, useless creatures that deny their roots
The ignored civil war in Ethiopia. Like Sudan, a devastating conflict is unfolding while the world looks away. An Oromo-led government, fueled by foreign arms, has turned the country into a war zone while attention is diverted to a 7 km “corridor of development.”
There’s no quick fix for 120 million people. A peaceful separation may be the only long-term solution.

@martinplaut Diaspora is not part of Ethiopia. They are legally not Ethiopian citizens. There are no dual citizenship rights in Ethiopia. Technically and legally, these are foreign subversive mafia bandits just like you. They have no rights over Ethiopia. Elections or no elections, irrelevant
Stockholm, Sweden: The Ethiopian diaspora joins protests against the forthcoming election. They reject it as a sham with the nation is engulfed in conflict and hunger, with millions displaced
Is Ethiopia Under PM Abiy Ahmed Dying?
A nation does not mourn without a cause. When #TeddyAfro’s 2026 album Ethiorica dominates national attention, it is worth asking why do so many Ethiopians feel that way.
In particular, his track “ዳስ ጣል” (Das Tal/Ansaw), an Amharic phrase meaning "erect a tent" for mourning or funeral gatherings, evokes widespread interpretation as a metaphor for the nation itself is being in a state of collective mourning.
The scale of its reach, over 100 million viewers on YouTube in under a week, shows how deeply that message resonates.
The “ዳስ ጣል” (Das Tal) lyrics tap into widespread public frustration over ongoing civil wars, rising lawlessness, record unemployment, soaring cost of living, and widening poverty.
The optimism that once defined Abiy Ahmed’s early leadership has, over the past eight years, largely faded into instability and disillusionment.
What is more telling is the reaction to the song. Instead of confronting the criticism, authorities have focused on suppress it by arresting listeners and people associated to the album, while avoiding direct confrontation against the artist himself ("አህያውን ፈርቶ ዳውላውን!") only fuels its message.
If “ዳስ ጣል” is a barometer, then a growing number of Ethiopians are no longer whispering concerns and asking questions. They are voicing, loudly and collectively, that something is deeply wrong with the way PM Abiy Ahmed is ruling the country.

If there is genuine will to end the war in Sudan, words alone are not enough concrete action is required. All actors fueling the conflict must be held accountable without exception. Countries and leaders enabling mercenary flows or prolonging the war should face financial and legal measures. International funding and military support to these actors must be suspended.
