For 2 years NBA “experts” have been talking about how Amen Thompson is gonna make a big improvement, and it just doesn’t happen. Him and his brother are both extremely mid. Good at some things but not elite at anything

We played the sport from a young age and you're going to touch the player offensively and defensively. The difference is the impact of that contact, can be punished One thing though, you can never push anyone.

SGA basicaly does 1 thing, he drives and if he is faster than you he goes in the paint, if you're faster and stronger than him, he will just push you off.

@drewkerr17 @AndrewDBailey That is not as impactfull as pushing off. Obviously its a contact sport, and if SGA was just touching the defender, that would be fine. But he pushes off all the time to get away from defenders. Harden, Steph , Kyrie 90% of the time would just kill you with handles, not SGA.

The reason I can’t rank certain players above Iniesta is because when they faced each other, it was obvious who the better player was and who had the greater impact. Certain conversations only started once Iniesta left Europe & enough time passed for people to forget.

@AbdulMu079 @ryenarussillo Yeah but the D has never been able to and they will never even that out. As far as the 1-for-12, frankly I'm surprised it was called once but I didn't watch the game or see that particular play. In the clip, I'm not at all surprised by the call.

This is the #1 problem with the way the game is called now. SGA can use his arms to push the defender away, but as the defender tries to recover and reaches, he’s called for the foul. It’s a foul on SGA first but it’s (almost) never called vs. FTs on marginal contact.

@AndrewKnollNHL @ryenarussillo The main point is, in the same actions the defender is not allowed to touch back the offensive player in order to get back in position. Is only SGA doing it? No But he is the main guy, specialy since these are his signature move He just did it like 12 times today, called it 1

@AbdulMu079 @ryenarussillo My point is that this wasn't some egregiously bad call, though the broader point that attacking players get away with a lot is accurate.

@AndrewKnollNHL @ryenarussillo What do you mean ?? Like i don't get your point. KD was called for a soft push off the other day against bulls. SGA, gets advantage of defenders by just doing that. He shoots like 7-10Midranges/ game and he does it like 70% of the time.
