TradFi has a name for what DeFi calls MEV. Market makers call it "order flow internalization." They see retail orders coming, take the other side, pocket the spread. Nobody calls it front-running because it's technically legal. Nomisma's claim of making MEV architecturally impossible is the on-chain version of this exact TradFi problem. @NomismaNetwork's founding team has been building complex DeFi applications since 2019 with roots deep in traditional finance. These aren't people who read about order flow exploitation in a whitepaper. They built around it, watched it, understood the plumbing before writing a single line of chain code. The fixed fee model and subchain isolation remove order flow visibility at the protocol level. In TradFi, this problem was never solved. It was regulated into a managed state. Nomisma is trying to solve it structurally instead. That's a meaningfully different ambition.
