@PJayDet @lukestanley03 If the ball is in such close proximity to the keeper's hand, it would be too harsh to give him a OG. It's clearly not a mistake/fumble from the keeper, and he had a clear intent of saving it. That said, no one exactly knows what the rule is, so whatever.

@AbeMwaringa @fytbvro Is the explanation I gave not simple enough? They did not erase their history. Since it was rebranded to premier league arsenal has won 4. What's there not to understand?. And FYI the analogy you gave is crap

@titilayojoshua @fytbvro Just imagine you are a 45 year old christian and want to convert to being a muslim and you are required to change a name. Does that nullify the life you lived before??

@fytbvro You sound dumb.. League title is different from premier league title. If it is league title arsenal has 14 and if it is the premier league as rebranded Arsenal has 4. Was there not to understand?

If Arsenal is not in the Champions League final, this season would have been the best season for me as an Arsenal fan. But we are in the Champions League final, which means that, this season could end up being the season every Arsenal fan cried proper tears of joy. No matter how strong you are or masculine you think you are, or how scarce your tears are, when we win that Champions League trophy you will cry. Seriously, I don't know what I will do when that happens. I have thought about it and imagined it for a while but I still can't tell what I will do when we win the Champions League. What will you do when we win it?

@DailyAFC @charles_watts The nice thing about this clip is Arteta takes part in his return himself. That's a gun ready to be loaded.

All this talk of Arsenal in every corner just lets me confirm one true statement: "There is no bad or good publicity. Publicity is publicity." And that's why I know Arsenal is a great club. COYG #Arsenal #championsleague #premieleague

Really really feels good watching Arteta this happy for the UCL final, he deserves this. He’s changed this Arsenal life entirely. It’s more than just a smile on the touchline, it’s years of conviction finally meeting its moment. Mikel Arteta walked into a club that had lost its identity, disconnected from its standards, and slowly rebuilt it piece by piece culture first, then structure, then belief. People mocked the process, questioned the decisions, doubted the signings, but he never flinched. He set a level and refused to compromise, even when results weren’t matching the vision yet. That’s the part people don’t see now, the discipline it took to stay the course. And look at this team today. You can see his fingerprints in everything: the control, the intensity, the unity. Players who believe, fans who feel connected again, a club that walks like it belongs at the very top. A Champions League final isn’t luck. It’s alignment from the manager to the players to the atmosphere around the club. And Arteta has engineered all of that. So when you see him smiling and dancing like this, it’s not just happiness… it’s relief, pride, validation. The kind that only comes when you’ve taken the long road and refused to turn back.

I’ve genuinely never seen, in my years as a journalist covering this sport, stadium fireworks for simply reaching a Champions League final, as far as I’m concerned Arsenal still have to beat Paris Saint-Germain in the final, and this kind of over-the-top reaction feels completely misplaced, almost like celebrating a trophy that hasn’t been won yet, which makes it come across less like confidence, more like a small-club mentality, desperate to manufacture a moment instead of actually finishing the job.
