It’s PoTS Awareness Day, lots of interesting & helpful resources out there. This pesky condition has impacted me so much. After lots of learning, I finally understand (as much as I can) what my body goes through daily. Thanks to @UKPoTS for all the brill work being done.

Many patients are told that their physical symptoms are ‘all in their head’ and instead are given psychiatric labels of #anxiety & #depression. I signed the final documents to close my law practice today. #LongCovid has taken away from me everything that I worked hard for & was proud of. Although I am grateful to have the love of my family & a few good friends, today is not the day to be positive but a day to grieve. 1/

Thinking a lot today of my lovely Auntie M who passed away last week at the incredible age of 97. Her kindness radiated in every conversation. She loved reading & telling stories about her younger years spent working in Ldn (of which she was so proud). I was lucky to know her💜
