The husband gave her the car as a birthday gift. Once he did that, it became her property. If she chose to give it to her pastor, that was entirely her decision. A gift belongs to the recipient, and it’s not the giver’s place to dictate what happens to it afterward. I think the husband’s reaction was unnecessary.
