.@jesistracham made the courageous decision to leave SSDI, but still relied on Medicaid to cover her high medical costs—only to find that marriage and modest savings could put her care at risk. 👇👇 youtube.com/watch?v=Qpjwz-…

Waste, fraud, and abuse aren’t just budget problems — they’re human ones.👏🏼👏🏼 Fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicaid hurt the very people the system is supposed to protect. Every dollar lost to fraudulent activity is a dollar not going toward individuals with significant support needs, families in crisis, and Americans relying on essential care and services. We can protect vulnerable Americans while also demanding accountability and transparency in the system.  Read our new report: “Addressing Fraud, Waste, and Abuse in Medicaid’s HCBS” ⬇️⬇️ ableamericans.us/new-report-tar…

Medicaid's Home- and Community-Based Services (HCBS) program lets millions of Americans with disabilities receive care at home — not in an institution. But fraud, waste, and abuse threaten the program and the people who depend on it. 📒Read it: ableamericans.us/policy-solutio…

The Medicaid fraud cases in Minnesota are sickening: people with disabilities waiting for care that never comes, while fraudsters bill taxpayers anyway. Across the country, 700,000 people are stuck on care waitlists. Every dollar stolen by bad actors is a dollar diverted from the vulnerable. JD Vance@JDVance

Today, the task force and the DOJ announced a massive take down of two of the largest Medicaid fraud cases in Minnesota state history, as well as the largest autism fraud scheme ever charged by the federal government. Our message is simple: if you’re committing fraud, we will find you, and we won’t rest until justice is served.

Medicaid’s HCBS program was created in 1981 to allow Americans with disabilities to receive care at home instead of an institution. HCBS currently enables 8.4 million Americans with disabilities to live independently, at less than one-third the cost of institutional care. ⬇️⬇️ ableamericans.us/new-report-tar…

Fraud must be rooted out. But families and people with disabilities should not be uprooted with it. 🔥🔥 Every dollar lost to fraud, waste, or abuse is a dollar not going to: ➡️ A person waiting for services ➡️ A caregiver in crisis ➡️ Someone trying to live independently We can protect taxpayer dollars and protect vulnerable Americans at the same time.  Accountability and compassion should go hand in hand. 👏🏻👏🏻  👉 Learn more: AbleAmericans.us
