The international rollout of the mainstream Tesla software version 2026.8 continues. In North America, the distribution is still mostly focused on HW3 vehicles.

A new mainstream version 2026.8 started rolling out globally, mostly to HW3 vehicles initially but some HW4 vehicles are included too. It comes with a new feature: Comfort Braking.

@AboutTesla Just to clarify any false hopes for us EU owners, FSD is being downloaded as part of this version and may be running in shadow mode for training but is a flag away from being activated until FSD is actually approved.

FSD v14.2.2.5 (2026.2.9) is actively rolling out to HW4 vehicles! And not just in North America, Europe is getting it too! And yes, all Tesla models are now included!

FSD v14.2.2.5 is now on the 2026.2 software branch! A new software update 2026.2.9 has started rolling out to HW4 vehicles in North America. The only change mentioned in the release notes is Autopilot Naming Update. Model S and X Teslas appear to be included in the rollout!

By now, around a quarter of all eligible HW4 Tesla vehicles in North America are included in the FSD v14.2.2.5 (2025.45.10) rollout. Still mostly Model Y, 3, and Cybertruck, with very few S and X vehicles in the mix so far.

Update: An issue with our recommendations system prevented videos from appearing across surfaces on YouTube (including the homepage, the YouTube app, YouTube Music and YouTube Kids). The homepage is back, but we're still working on a full fix – more coming soon!

More than 5% of all eligible HW4 Tesla vehicles in North America are receiving FSD v14.2.2.5 (2025.45.10) this morning! Model Y, 3, and Cybertruck are included in this wave.

Tesla Models S and X come with the Luxe package, which still includes FSD as well as free Supercharging, four-year Premium Service and free Premium Connectivity.

The FSD purchase option in the US for the Model 3/Y, and Cybertruck is now gone from the app and Tesla website. Even for inventory vehicles, including pre-owned ones.
You can still find inventory vehicles with Autosteer, but FSD only comes as a 1- or 3-month trial.
