I had the honour of chairing the Grand Reception held at the Trade Fair Complex, Kaduna, to formally welcome the former Director General of NEMA and former PDP Governorship Aspirant, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, GCON, along with top federal and state government officials, party stalwarts, and stakeholders. Q1 2025 Revenue Performance Review: Kaduna State Rolls Out Economic Reforms to achieve its 2025 Target. (1) The target of Gov @ubasanius’ Administration is to generate ₦112 Billion in 2025 against ₦71 Billion generated in 2024. (2) The Hon Commissioner @KADPBC , Hon Mukhtar Ahmed Monrovia stated key reforms being implemented across Tax Administration, Legal Frameworks and Operational Efficiency & Collaboration across MDAs (3) Aside Revenue Generation, these reforms are aimed at fostering Inclusive Growth and Boosting Financial Stability for the state. (4) @KASUPDA_KDSG and @kadirsgovng new digitized platforms for Building Permits, tax payments and collections respectively have made significant impact; enhancing customer service experience and improving financial prudence. 4(a): “We are expanding the revenue net” - DG KASUPDA, Bldr. Abdurrahman Yahya (b): In Q1 2025, @KASUPDA_KDSG recorded over 36% of its annual revenue goal. The Figures look PROMISING. (5) Listen to the Accountant General, @BashirSZuntu: He explained that Accountability is Key and Gov @ubasanius has addressed several bottlenecks to ensure that Revenue Streams (i.e MDAs) are efficient in performance and void of leakages.
