Everyone is calling the 30th anniversary the forever top on Pokemon. Just like they did for the 25th anniversary. Same as they did for the 20th anniversary. Go look at what sealed costs for those sets. But hey, keep repeating it and thinking it. It's what makes them perfect long term investments at the time.

@PokeCardsDaily I agree with you but this isn’t the picture to match your post. These were sent out to distributors before they were supposed to be. This isn’t a “factory leak” like you’re implying.

The amount of leaks coming out of Pokémon’s English printing facilities is actually astounding. How do they allow this to keep happening?

@AbyssCody @MaxLonged The hyper rare should be far more expensive than the current price with that pull rate, they’re clearly vastly undervalued.

@NotAlexOnX With enough networking I’m sure a show could put together a group of real collectors who are willing to vend. No in-print sealed, nothing traded at a %. If buying, they need to pay 90% minimum, it would be a paradise for anyone who’s not a scumbag but still loves cards.

@AbyssCody Card shows have just become hunting grounds for predatory nerds. Just a giant percentage war of who can undermine who the hardest. I dont even know how a show can combat it. No sealed, sure, but the percentage garbage has to go. Maybe make it so vendors need to learn business.

Last show as a vendor wrapped up. I gave free first partners, free cards, free wrapped up gift packs for kids. Bought at 90 percent for my PC and traded at full market. I made more than enough to meet my financial goal and I'm now debt free. "MOST" VENDORS ARE BUMS!

@NotAlexOnX I need to link up and start hosting shows with you. Every show here in the Midwest has turned into a greed-fest for overweight scalpers. Every table has the exact same sealed products and cards marked at 120% because “the dealer paid high on that one”. It’s gross.

@AbyssCody I'm always the one to offer a straight trade. Actually had a customer drive an hour to see me at a show because I taught his new-to-Pokemon kids that trade should always be fair. I also told them, they should not allow anyone to take them for less than 90 percent on anything.

I'm going to strike a few nerves, maybe lose a few "followers" but I don't care. Collectors are being scammed at card shows while vendors celebrate their robberies. I hate watching people fall to the parasitism that has been, inexplicably, accepted in the community. 🔫
