@PolishTamales @Pirat_Nation that's true but u can even see it in steam review that they dislike a game and don't say why. if u dislike a game just say why. a lot of people don't even say that they just didn't like the art style or anything. it just "bad game -not recommended" i think it doesn't help gaming

@TallDarkGru @Pirat_Nation Oh they go above and beyond on steam. I bought phantasmophobia had it refunded maybe 2-3 months later, I was going to play the game with my ex but I found out she was cheating so I dumped her and steam gave me a refund on the game. I never played it.

@Pirat_Nation Nope. I make good use of Steam's 48hr refund/2hr play limit. Has saved me lots of money on boring or terribly optimised games

PlayStation support has confirmed that a new digital rights management policy for the console is intentional, not a glitch. Starting with any digital games purchased after the March 2026 system update, your PS5 will require an internet connection at least once every 30 days to validate the license. If the console stays offline longer than that, the games simply will not launch until you reconnect. This change does not affect any titles already in your library. Setting a console as your primary system also will not bypass the monthly check-in.

@raistlinsly1 @Acromisss @Pirat_Nation Since when? I play games in steam offline all the time. Plenty of games I have on steam that I can play offline while not connect to the internet. My boot steam and offline mode and I can just play any of those games as long as they're not live service.

@Pirat_Nation I'll be canceling any subscriptions I have with PlayStation and will no longer be making any purchases on Playstation after this point. It's time to go touch grass people. And save up your money until you can get a gaming PC and give your money to valve/steam instead

Especially if the game itself doesn't require online capabilities. I can understand this being a thing for live service, but not for offline

I mean, this would require you to stay offline for a straight 30 days I’m not even sure if people would actually do that. If it happens, they’ll probably have other priorities instead of worrying about licensing their game But honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they start doing the same for physical copies too… nowadays discs are basically just a license confirmation rather than containing the actual game

They're still going to require you to somehow be connected to the internet. And with physical going away...

@Pirat_Nation Needs to add a story line, not dlc and definitely not multiplayer, it needs a primary lengthy storyline, a bunch of side quests in a sandbox is boring and exactly what an MMO is, BDO suffered from lack of meaningful story meaning lack of direction.

@Vanrath91 @TaintedGrail_AR It's a scrolls-like, very similar to Skyrim and Oblivion. Definitely worth the pick up, I grabbed it when it came out because the art and name stood out to me, I never believed it would be this good or the dev care about us so much. Word of mouth is best publicity. It's worth it.
