After 45 hours, I have beaten Assassin's Creed Black Flag RESYNCED, full thoughts: - Game looks amazing, the art direction and graphics are really better than original - Love the ship battles, they made them more fluid - Voice acting is incredible - Added content is very welcomed, it's crazy how much good they added - Plays amazing, had only 1 crash and no bugs or drops. Actually surprised how polished it is - There is optional microtransactions for skins and other stuff - Side content is fun as hell - LOVE the fact it's not a rpg, so refreshing when doing side stuff. Feels more free - The dedicated good button is very welcomed Black flag was never my favorite AC game but this remake made me appreciate it so much more. This is how a AC should be made in the future. No RPG and focus on quality what you have in the world

If the PS6 really ends up being a digital only console (and assuming it’s backward compatible with PS4 & PS5 games) here are the two likely scenarios for those of us with physical copies: 1) A software update allows physical owners to get a free (or low cost) digital PS6 version of the game, while keeping the original disc intact 2) Sony says “fuck you” and forces you to buy the digital version again if you want to play it on PS6

HISTORY WAS WRITTEN TODAY (July 1st 2026) PlayStation just announced they’re ending physical formats for all new games starting January 2028 I’m really glad and grateful I got to live through this era. Physical games have been part of my life since the PS2 days all the way to PS5. I’m not a fan of the decision, but I also understand it… Consumer habits have changed a lot (especially with the newer generation) in the last decade, and recent data shows digital downloads now make up roughly 85% of all PlayStation software sales THAT’S WILD Still, that doesn’t mean everyone is going digital. I’ll personally keep buying physical until the very last day before the change
