@StarWarsOnly2 Absolutely miss the “fly on the wall” aspect of those documentaries. They felt so much more realistic and interesting compared to most of the meticulously edited SW BTS docs we get today.

Finished Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor. Probably one of my all time favorite Star Wars books. The ship battles felt apocalyptic levels of intense. I greatly enjoy the anti-doomer, anti-nihilism message. Luke was very well written. Cronal is the epitome of scum.

Jennings on Emperor Palpatine: He took on an entrenched deep state at the jedi council. He wanted free and fair and reciprocal trade around the galaxy. Protected law and order.
Lathan: He blew up Alderaan
Jennings: Some could argue it was warranted given their rebellious activities. He defended the empire against unelected hippies and violent protesters
