⚽️ Big things are happening for soccer in our schools! Atlanta Public Schools was proud to participate in the first-ever FIFA Football for Schools training in the United States, hosted right here in Atlanta. Nearly 100 APS physical education teachers, coaches, and community leaders took part in hands-on training led by FIFA and U.S. Soccer, learning new ways to bring soccer into classrooms and school programs. Held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Soccer in the Streets’ West End Station, the training equipped our educators with digital tools and curriculum designed to promote physical activity, teamwork, confidence, and student engagement through the game of soccer. As the kickoff city for this national initiative, APS is excited to help lead the way in expanding access to soccer and creating more opportunities for our students to learn, play, and grow. ⚽️📚 #APSExcellence #AtlantaPublicSchools
