@SmallerFishGAA Play 4 . Lose 3 and draw 1 . Do they deserve to be still in the Championship? or should you get bonus points for nearly winning or hard luck stories? Maybe we should make it non competitive and give everybody a medal.

Peter Queally “But the reality is the sun hasn't even started shining yet and we're putting away our hurleys" Waterford should be out of Munster but not the All Ireland. The provincials should be separate to the All Ireland in hurling Open draw knockout All Ireland after the Provincial final weekend - provincial finalists get home advantage

Still think it’s an absolutely nuts system in Wexford. Hurling finished in mid-August

I’m always amazed that managers don’t actually take the rugby approach & actually watch the game from an elevated position like that. The perspective of the game you get from Level 7 of the Hogan is so much more clear cut that at sideline level.

“If Waterford get there next year, we’ll be putting them up there end of story.” Davy Fitzgerald explains the lengths Limerick go to in pursuit of success, as he discovered up in the Hogan Stand press box on Sunday.

To summarise. -Sky pulled out. -GAA didn't go to the market for a free to air option. -Instead they decided to stream huge games on GAAGO behind a pay wall. -RTE has a 50% stake in GAAGO who really should be a rival broadcaster. -Dee Forbes and Declan McBennett are directors of GAAGO. -They signed a 5 year contract

@FrankLedwidge @naughtonmichael @SmallerFishGAA You could never miss more than one championship game . Iv had a season ticket from the start . There was always only one opt out for championship. There was also an overall 60% attendance rule overall to encourage attendance at league games.

@Acahill85 @SmallerFishGAA Yes in one year. First game was always free. Where is the extra game added. They definitely added more games to attend with maybe 3 provincials, 3 group , prelim quarterfinals, quarterfinals , semifinals and final. All with the price of everything going up. The people’s games. ?

@naughtonmichael @SmallerFishGAA You are incorrect here . The same rules currently apply as always did. You could never miss more than one championship game to qualify for the al ticket. You can still miss one .
