@BRobo82 @SK83RJOSH @Acdra_Cos Video games always had a uncanny valley problem. And the moment you push to a certain degree of realism it becomes more obvious. But this is just the start and AI is really the only way to break past the uncanny valley.

So, do you seriously think the image on the left looks technically better? Or is it just a case of 'this isn't the creators' artistic vision, and besides, AI is awful,' because hating on AI is super trendy and drives clicks?

The whole DLSS 5 thing is insane because to the creators it’s basically others slapping AI slop filter on your work you’ve spent YEARS creating saying “look! We made it better!” If this isn’t a huge insult then idk what is
