Ben Shapiro was always a mirage. The article attributes the slow death of the DAILY WIRE primarily to the rise of anti-Semitic commentators like Nick Fuentes and Candace Owens, which is true but elides the "changing consumer habits" of right-wing media and the artificial hydroponics that sustained Shapiro in the first place. Ben Shapiro is a silver-spoon dork whose rich Hollywood parents bought him a career in punditry. He had a WND column when he was a teenager; don't try and tell me that he got that on merit. His entire pitch to the financiers who backed him was that he represented da yoof when his audience was the same boomers who watch Sean Hannity. He's a smug twerp whose voice dries out vaginas. Shapiro was pushed by the same evangelical Christian media complex that dominated the right-wing during the 2000s only to lose their credibility with the implosion of George W. Bush. Their message was never appealing to anyone under 55. There was always a small collective of Young Republican dorks at every college in the 2000s, but they were extremely uncool, obnoxious people. The only socially acceptable way to be right-wing was Ron Paul libertarianism (which burned itself out in its own way). Young people don't want to be crushed by the Catherine wheel of DEI and libtardery and be told that it's their own fault. "Pull yourself up by your bootstraps" sells only to boomers because everyone else had to pawn their bootstraps to make rent. The rise of Trump revealed how hollow the evangelical media complex was, as "TROO CONSERVATIVES" like Shapiro whined about his uncouth attitude and his casual disregard for "conservative principles" like handing all our industry to China on a silver platter. Shapiro limped along due to the mass deplatforming of the MAGA right that occurred during Trump's first term. Remember the "Intellectual Dark Web"? That was some marketer's idea of what an "edgy" right-wing would look like. The MTV of discourse. When Twitter changed management in 2022, it revealed that Shapiro's audience was all smoke and mirrors. Of course, the new wave of low-IQ anti-Semites are being pushed just as much as Shapiro was. Nick Fuentes sought funding from Dan and Farris Wilks, the same billionaires who provided seed capital for DAILY WIRE and PragerU. Candace Owens? Pushed. Tucker Carlson? Pushed. Thiel Capital came very close to funding the alt-right in 2015-2016---and groups like TRS were explicitly seeking Thiel funding---before an implosion caused them to switch their support to the IDW because it was less embarrassing. Trust no bitch. The other factor in Shapiro's demise is the fact that the right-wing has been demographically replaced. Young Americans are browner and brownoids have no interest in Christianity or "personal responsibility conservatism." They may be anti-feminist, but they want to bang girls, not get married. They want fast cars, big houses, and bling bling. In other words, Andrew Tate---and people inspired like him---will ultimately define the American right-wing, not Shapiro or even Fuentes. Shapiro will struggle along in some capacity, but his influence will be deeply diminished. THE DAILY WIRE will either go down completely or shrink to become a glorified platform for Shapiro. No more dumb movies that rip off 20-year-old FUTURAMA episodes. The evangelical complex is done.

There was a time, not very long ago, when Ben Shapiro could reasonably call himself the king of all conservative media. That’s all over now, writes political columnist Ross Barkan. Shapiro’s company, ‘The Daily Wire,’ is instituting significant layoffs. Its YouTube channel’s subscriber base is starting to shrink, and its website has emerged as one of the great traffic losers in conservative media. There are ‘Daily Wire’ YouTube videos that now, after a few days online, have less than 10,000 views, a catastrophically small number for a channel with more than 3 million subscribers. The top comments all mock the low view counts. “If a variety of poor business decisions can be blamed, in part, for the ‘Daily Wire’’s fall from grace — ill-fated investments in feature films, an epic fantasy series, and peculiar merchandise — the greater story is the collapse of Shapiro’s constituency,” writes Barkan. “There are two realities to Shapiro conservatism in 2026: It retains a significant foothold among Republican elites, and it is fast being rejected by the future grassroots of the party.” Read more: nymag.visitlink.me/KtpIKV

To understand the influence of Christianity on our culture, two excellent movies to watch are Apocalypto and the Northman. Both have amazing visuals and cinematography. Both portray a totally non-Christian culture "from the inside". You get to fully inhabit the frame and mindset of that culture. And it feels utterly alien.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court just issued an UNANIMOUS 9-0 ruling that freight brokers can be sued if they negligently hire companies with risky trucking practices. Time for companies to be held accountable for putting foreign truck drivers on U.S. roads.

Excited to announce that my 83-page ASSIMILATION Act has been introduced. Months of labor were undertaken by my staff, @SenTuberville and myself in order to GUT the Hart-Celler Act of 1965, as well as scrap provisions of the Immigration Act of the 1990s. The goal of this bill is simple: end replacement migration and ensure American cultural cohesion. This bill will end the H-1B scam, ensure migrants NEVER become a public charge, and make America look like America again. FYI, net immigration immediately decreases by 85% under this bill. Some other things it does: • National Interest Standard • Stringent Character Tests • Mandatory E-Verify • Ends Chain Migration • Ends Diversity Lottery • GUTS Birthright Citizenship • WAY Tougher Asylum Standards • Stronger Public Charge Rules • 10 Year Citizenship Requirement • English & American Civics PROFICIENCY

The Iran war is going to lead to a boom in domestic energy production, just like the Arab oil embargo and the Iranian Revolution led to the 80s oil glut. More importantly, we're going to see Democrats backing oil and gas production out of political survival. The Trans-Alaska Pipeline System was initially planned in the 1960s after oil was discovered at Prudhoe Bay. Libtards in Congress blocked its authorization for years with a changing litany of excuses. First they whined that it would harm Inuit tribes whose land the pipeline would cross. The pipeline consortium solved this by individually negotiating with tribes to compensate them for land use. Then libtards said the pipeline would destroy the environment. It would harm the caribou (hilarious given that caribou actually use the pipeline now for warmth). The 1973 oil embargo was the catalyst for the pipeline's construction. Americans were so angry about gas shortages that even Democrats had to start lobbying for its construction out of fear of losing reelection. Congress passed the pipeline authorization into law at the end of that year and construction began a few months later. Both Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford supported the pipeline. Jimmy Carter COULD have killed it when he took office in 1977, just like Biden killed Keystone XL, but did not do so because it would have been political suicide. The Trans-Alaska Pipeline System went online in 1977 and while its impact was initially low, it ended up becoming a major contributor to the oil glut of the 80s, when oil prices collapsed to historically low levels. It helped break OPEC's then-monopoly on oil production and strengthened American energy independence. It also had some amusing knock-on effects; in Canada, low oil prices led to a budget crisis in Alberta, which had profited from high energy costs during the crises of the 70s. Environmentalism and NIMBYism with regards to infrastructure are luxury beliefs America cannot afford, especially now. Drill baby drill. We could potentially see 90s-style $0.99/gallon gas within our lifetimes.

President Trump ended the Biden administration’s LNG export permit ban on day one. Today, America is the largest producer and exporter of natural gas in the world, with LNG exports expected to double by the end of the decade.

Laramie County Sheriff's Office in Wyoming has been arresting dozens of immigrant truckers a few days at a time using authority granted by their 287(g) agreement with ICE. There were 35 agreements nationwide under Obama in 2016; 135 in 2024; 1,782 under Trump in 2026, so far.

A new report finds that immigrant bond release has become rarer and more expensive than ever recorded due to the Trump admin. Bond denial now massively outpaces bond grants and the DHS is challenging many of the few requests granted. Relief for illegals is becoming a non-option.
