We believe FIFA should re-evaluate their practice of putting the hosts automatically to Pot 1. Especially if there is more than 1 host. They already have the advantage of not needing to go through qualifiers + the home field advantage at the tournament. Assigning them to Pot 1 creates unbalanced groups + the knock-on effect on the unbalanced KO bracket.

@cw_131007 @fmeetsdata First of all, those extra 6 teams are just getting demolished by teams like England, or even mid-tier teams like Austria recently demolishing Gibraltar. So it's certainly possible to have some kind of preliminary round here. But worst case scenario - 6 groups will have 7 teams

@fmeetsdata 6 qualifying from CONCACAF is ridiculous itself. Hosts should go through qualifiers especially if there are more than 1.

But as long as 🇷🇺 Russia remains suspended, 23rd place also enables champions to start from 🔵 UCL Q2. 🇭🇷 Croatia will almost certainly finish the season in Top 20. They could also theoretically be overtaken by 🇺🇦 UKR, but for that 🇺🇦 Shakhtar would need to win 🟢 UECL 🏆 by winning almost every game until the end.

I spent 6 months in Budapest 🇭🇺 last year and there was literally this anti-EU/Zelensky propaganda everywhere The budget put into this campaign must be enormous since we can find these every 100 meters on some roads. Most of the hungarians I talked to supported Magyar and were tired of Orban. Also about the claim that there is 0 immigration in Hungary and that there is 0 insecurity : this is not right and insecurity is even high in some Budapest neighbourhoods (especially gipsies ones). Apart from that, Budapest remains largely safer than many other European cities, but this has nothing to do with Orban, since it is same in Zagreb, Ljubljana, Warsaw and many central/eastern european cities.

@boroandrew @clement_molin Ruthenians are not Ukrainians. You oppress them too, not only the Hungarians. Btw, According 1910 census, 2/3 of other ethnicities did not speak in Hungarian in Hungary. If I add, that usually Swabians did. That tells a lot about the huuuge Hungarian oppression.

The french PHA Dixmude is in the red sea with the frigate Aconit, while another french frigate, Forbin is in the Bab El Mandeb Area. Finally, the FREMM Provence is in the Arabian sea. We have then 11 french ships deployed to the middle east, maybe 12 if we count a secret submarine that can be there... Literraly half of the french navy ! What looks like a logical solution is that a replacement team will be sent from 🌏 Asia. 🇮🇶 Iraq was the top team in Asian qualifiers that didn't qualify directly and is set to play in 🧩 IC Playoffs in late March. They need to win one game on neutral ground v either 🇧🇴 Bolivia or 🇸🇷 Suriname to qualify. If they don't do it, FIFA could hand 🇮🇶 Iraq a wild card to replace 🇮🇷 Iran. If 🇮🇶 Iraq do qualify on their own merit, the next candidate to replace Iran would be 🇦🇪 UAE, who lost to Iraq in 5th round of qualifiers. 🇮🇷 Iran was supposed to play 2 games in 🇺🇸 Los Angeles (v 🇳🇿🇧🇪) and one in 🇺🇸 Seattle (v 🇪🇬).
