@MarcyBelowFloor What's funny is that one of the BIG, MAJOR COMPLAINTS people had with FFXIV 1.0's version (not defending it BTW) was that you couldn't jump in it. When I can't think of a more functionally useless button in any single other videogame than the jump button in current FFXIV.

Careless translation is just kind of stupid. Early on in FFXIV, they had altered some characters personalities from Japanese, only to run into problems when they had become major characters later down the line in the first expansion, because they lacked the necessary foresight.

Now that FFXIV story has shifted from "defeating the biggest threat" to "how can we protect what we can" it has never been so necessary to kill a scion.

My own thought is I enjoyed the realms plot wise, but I WISH these fights were handled with DT's content in mechanics. Especially for the final boss, which was so disappointing because 'Using all of the twelve's power' could have had so many cooler mechanics than what we got.
