@HuxMr54049 @JaeGamez I get that. I played 15 at launch and then again when the Royal Edition dropped. I guess that just goes to show how gamers have different opinions.

@AchillianBoy @JaeGamez Maybe you played the royal edition? I beat FF15 after it launched and it was a hollow vapid mess with a lot of context that didn't exist until after the dlc content. Nvm all the marketing loaded in the game. FF15 is far more boring and tedious from when I experienced it.

@HuxMr54049 @JaeGamez That's not what I'm doing at all. The original question is which is the better game. I personally think 15 has better fights, dungeons (compared to short monster quests from 16), and better characters.
I was originally just comparing the fight about the same as Leviathan.

@AchillianBoy @JaeGamez You're trying to qualify which one is a video game and which isn't which isn't the pout . One is objectively grander in scale than the other and that's intellectually dishonest to hand wave it away as one big cutscene. 60 hrs to 100% for me wasn't spent in one cutscene.

@HuxMr54049 @JaeGamez I don't. But FF16 is almost one big cutscene with QTEs. I like both very much, but I just think 15 is a better game in terms of fights.

@AchillianBoy @JaeGamez If you're only gauge is difficulty then yeah FF15 takes the cake for being one long boring road trip with some difficult boss fights with a few level check boss fights and dungeon. But in terms of raw epicness that goes to 16.

@HuxMr54049 @JaeGamez Hard disagree. FF16 is great, but most fights were just flashy and over-the-top. I didn't struggle in the boss fights, even on Final Fantasy mode. And smaller boss fights were a slog of just chipping away at health.
