@DionysianAgent Been me off and on for about a couple weeks as well, and I deeply get that, as an artist/musician myself it seems to get me structured in creating better without external heavy influence (almost feels like forced influence)

i've kinda fasted from music for like 3 weeks now (except for when i'm in the gym) it really changed how I handle my thoughts, I feel a lot more clear in my mind, like an almost constant flow of imagination & thoughts that flow through my wind during every awake moment. now it feels almost wrong to listen to music without a purpose, like doing it to help induce flow in the gym still feels fine - but now if i put my headphones on & play music while i'm working or walking or taking transport, then it almost feels uncomfortable? Like the music is hijacking the flow of my imagination, like it's a drug that overrides your mind in a way.
