I’ve been struggling to accept my circumstances and my sister tried to suggest that I could just stay in the Netherlands and become a yoga teacher with housemates and I cannot express in concrete enough terms that that sounds like literal hell to me.

Asked the 2 gals at the local game shop which TCG was played locally by the most women and they said lorcana has Disney adults & they wouldn’t advise joining any other TCG groups. But really I should just convince my friends to play… but I’m doing this to make local friends.

@IknowYoue_e Yeah! Very few my age are into cosplay in the Netherlands (or any of my other hobbies) so I though this could be a way to make more friends but the local Magic community was all stinky teenage boys. 😬

@AcornCosplay In my humble opinion you can still get into it for yourself and then next time you're randomly out you'll have that in your arsenal as a secret weapon. But you're right anyway so I don't foresee you having too many difficulties. But it's nice to have at a convention js 🤷🏿‍♂️
