hey @Acronis i'm trying to figure out why a backup solution would be trying to pretend to be antivirus? Suggestion: first, don't. and if you insist then provide an up-front mention that you're going to try to do that and an option on install to say "No."

Přátelé i nepřátelé. Krátké shrnutí posledních tří dnů s jednou nevyžádanou radou: zálohujte, zálohujte, zálohujte. Nestačí mít zálohu na disku C:. K takové záloze se při vážném problému s velkou pravděpodobností vůbec nedostanete. Zálohujte mimo počítač. Ještě lépe mimo síť. A úplně nejlepší je mít jednu kopii i mimo budovu. Používám @Acronis Cyber Protect Standard Virtual Host Subscription a dnes jsem za to opravdu rád. Havárii serverů s největší pravděpodobností způsobily aktualizace Windows Server 2019 (ověřeno). Nejsem zdaleka jediný. Ajťák už našel na fórech další postižené a dokonce i postupy, jak systém znovu postavit na nohy. Ještě nemám vyhráno. Mám ale zálohy, mám poslední data z aplikací a mám kompletní dokumenty k 16. 7. To jediné mě v posledních dnech dělilo od naprostého zoufalství. Takže ještě jednou: zálohujte, zálohujte, zálohujte. Přeji všem hezký nedělní večer 👋😊❤️🍀🎶

As mentioned above, Acronis True Image 2021 should support NVMe SSD cloning. However, whether a particular cloning operation is supported may depend on the specific hardware and storage configuration in your environment. @Acronis Yes i get that - but what im asking is should nvme clones be posdible with 2021 version or do I need to get a new version ?

Hi @Acronis, your documentation says Acronis Cyber Protect supports RHEL/AlmaLinux/CloudLinux up to 9.5. Given recent kernel vulnerabilities (GhostLock, BadEpoll, Januscape, etc.), staying on the latest kernel versions isn’t optional - it’s a security requirement. The file_protector DKMS module (v1.1-1593) fails to build on EL9.8 kernels because get_task_exe_file is no longer exported upstream since Sep 2021: github.com/torvalds/linux… Please update file_protector to support current RHEL 9.x kernels.

Hello! If the NVMe drives are detected but greyed out, the issue may be related to a specific hardware or storage configuration rather than NVMe support itself. You may find this article helpful, as cloning is not supported when the source and target disks use different logical sector sizes. Acronis True Image does not support cloning and disk/partition recovery if the source drive has different sector size than the destination drive : care.acronis.com/s/article/4543… Best regards.
