Highlights since the launch of NIL Go include: - 21,025 deals with a total value of $166.50M have been cleared. - 711 deals with a total value of $29.30M have been not cleared. - Since the launch of the NIL Go platform, 70% of deals that reached resolution did so within 7 days following submission of all required information — and 50% of deals submitted to NIL Go were resolved within 24 hours.

LSU has resolved its inquiry from the College Sports Commission related to athletes not reporting NIL deals, the school says. As noted Friday, several universities have received CSC inquiry letters, many for trivial matters or misunderstandings that are fairly quickly resolved.

Here’s LSU’s statement about the letter of inquiry, which - as reported above - several programs have received over the last couple weeks and many have already been resolved. A source tells @YahooSports that LSU’s inquiry letter is not related to football.

NEWS: College sports’ new enforcement arm has opened its first publicly known investigation into a big-name program: LSU. The College Sports Commission (CSC) has started an inquiry into the Tigers over a potential violation of rules related to unreported player compensation, according to a Jan. 15 email obtained Friday by The Athletic through a public records request.

Commercial jersey patches takes another step toward approval. In September, as reported then, DI conference commissioners were informed that jersey patches were expected to be approved this spring with an implementation date of Aug. 1.

The CSC issued two important rule interpretations today. 1. Rev share payments can be offset by third party NIL $ secured by a school, but the school’s cap hit is not reduced. 2. Athletes can be paid NIL $ to promote events in which they participate (MTEs, bowl games, etc.).
