Investments are always lagging of market adoption when it comes to bleeding edge technologies. Adoption is what drives Breethr's momentum today, happy with how users are voting with their wallets and adopting new age hardware products across various use-cases. We have now users across 12 cities, things will change one step at a time, i am absolutely certain of that When founders build something that didn't exist or something that fundamentally changes user behaviour, they WILL face pushback, its a CANON event. No VC today would consider the itouch/iphone concept in 2007 as a fundable company when blackberry/nokia was the rage; but we know how that turned out. Wont be the first nor the last time.

A robotics founder struggles to raise in India but 10 beauty / protein powder /etc brands get funded in the meantime — ground reality. Like it or not. Hoping this changes sooner than later. 🤞

4 February 2009 remains a quiet milestone in my life. As a first-year engineering student at BITS, I was handed an honour that comes rarely even once in a career: the chance to present a project to Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam; a man whose work in defence and space had convinced me that engineering could be a calling rather than merely a degree. The institute had chosen sixteen projects from more than two thousand brilliant peers. My classmate Chinmay and I brought forward the idea we had been refining since our very first semester: a solar-powered LED lamp conceived five years before LED bulbs reached Indian store-shelves. We demonstrated its ability to cut both electricity usage and household costs, and we became the ONLY first-year team in the cohort of 10 teams. Dr Kalam listened, then, in his characteristic gentle way, offered a single paragraph of guidance that has stayed with me longer than many semester-long courses: “Soon one LED will light an entire hut. Keep experimenting with new substrates.” In those few words he sketched the future of illumination and handed us a compass for the work ahead. Today, as I build at @BreethrHQ and teach aspiring engineers who come seeking direction, I measure every decision against that early conversation; will this choice still serve people a generation from now? If it will, I know I am walking the path he pointed out.

CO2 and PM2.5 monitoring are critical for better productivity, better well being and as important as drinking clean water.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

@karpathy True. I have a CO2 monitor on my desk. It beeps whenever ppm>1000.

You want cool air in your room. But this cool air must also be oxygen-rich. Remember that your AC rooms need ventilation too unless you prefer to sleep in a CO2 chamber. Contact ActiveBuildings now to find the right way to bring fresh air into your AC rooms.

Why risk air-borne health problems in a new house when you can diagnose the air before moving in? Book a quick air test and fix the air quality to make your new home a healthy one. #HealthAndWellness #AirQuality

Nitrogen Dioxide levels are going up in Gurgaon air. Prolonged exposure to NO2 can lead to diseases like Otitis media, eczema, ENT infections, sensitisation to food allergens among children and high blood coagulability along with breathing problems.

Banning asbestos mining was one of the earliest steps at countering life-threatening particle pollution in India. Even today thousands of people have difficulty breathing after walking just a few steps, not knowing it is the asbestos they inhaled 30 years ago at work.

High humidity in monsoons means a mold infestation in your homes and offices. And mold might be the reason behind your allergies, headaches, ENT and breathing problems. #moisture #monsoon #airquality

Everyone I know understands that something about sitting in ACs is making them sick and anxious, but still we aren’t doing anything about ventilation?

Verdict’s out! Indirect impact of vapes, e-cigarettes is now exposed as studies find the PM 2.5 released from vaping is equivalent to pollution caused by tobacco smoking in indoor spaces. #indoorairquality #vaping #ecigarrate

You have probably accepted mold as part of the monsoon season. But that black spot on the wall, greenish moss on wooden furniture or beddings could be the reason why you keep falling sick. #mold #indoorairquality

If entry of outside air is blocked, you inhale the trapped oxygen, convert it into CO2 and exhale it back into the trapped air. Now the Carbon Dioxide level in your room is more than Oxygen. Can that be good for you? #indoorairquality #ventilation

Not saying you should order out more, but if you’re not cooking consciously you could be releasing PAHs into your air. So choose your cooking regime smartly and consult your air quality experts quickly. The longer you wait, the longer you breathe pollutants.

What you smell is what you are consuming through the air. Mold, paint fumes, air fresheners, cleaning chemicals or your colleague’s deodorant in closed spaces like offices can bring out symptoms of sickness like headaches, sneezing, coughing, eye irritation or developing a cold.
