Last week, members of the National Executive of the Women Council represented Uganda at the 70th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (#CSW70) at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. CSW70 is the United Nations’ largest annual gathering focused on gender equality and women’s rights. During the session, the Uganda delegation highlighted the country’s strategic successes in scaling up investment to accelerate access to justice.
